CHON BURI: A new mobile application has been introduced to help Thai women who plan to live and work abroad or are already doing so. More Thai people are leaving the country to study, work or marry foreigners, and the application would help Thai women prepare and adapt, said Lertpanya Buranabundit, director-general of the Department of Women's Affairs and Family Development. He introduced the Yingthai app on Saturday during a training session held by the department. "Those who are in trouble and need help in other countries can use the application to quickly find useful information anywhere and anytime," Mr Lertpanya said. The free application is now available for downloading on Apple and Android mobile devices.
